Launchpad's invaluable contribution to my career growth? Gaining experience by working on projects involving integration and solution implementation! Our Launchpad team gained experience on the whole deployment lifecycle process - from sandbox to production; this is something on which confidence can only be built by actually working on it! Without the Launchpad, it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to gain such an experience before landing on a Job.

The main thing I gained at Mom Relaunch is hands-on experience. I worked on three different projects. I found the clear requirements that I got from Core Team members most helpful. I had the opportunity to talk to them, discuss, and explain what I was going to do with the requirements. The Core Team members were very supportive when I needed them. The other skills I was able to improve were my Salesforce VisualForce, Apex, and business analysis skills.
There aren't many opportunities to interact with others while on a career break, but going through the program, communicating with other moms on a day to day basis allowed me to express myself and helped me improve my communication skills on both technical and social aspects. Getting to know other moms who are trying to get back to work like you also helped me with moral support. Seeing others succeed made me feel confident and motivated me to achieve success.

The name Mom Relaunch, the name itself says it all, it's perfect, it was the thing I was looking for so I joined the community. It has been a progressive experience from the day I attended the first event till the time I got the job.
The studying and learning part I can learn - there is a lot of material on the net, but hands-on experience is important. You only feel good after getting hands-on experience. So definitely after one month of joining, I got that feeling of confidence; that I was able to work and solve anything.
Mom Relaunch was a thriving platform for me to put together my ideas and to come round again with my work discipline. It helped to reinstate my passion that I was almost letting go of. Through this journey, I have also made some great friends that I plan to hold on to for life.
